10-Seater

- ●Any member of the group needs wheelchair accessible transport.
- ●Your group is 10 or 11 but one person uses a wheelchair — the 10-seater WAT configuration is the only option.
- ●You have a FIFO crew of 8 or 9 with kit bags.
12-Seater
- ●Your group is 10 or 11 passengers with no wheelchair access requirement.
- ●You have a corporate event, conference, or wedding party of 10 to 11.
- ●You want to move a large family or extended group in a single vehicle.
Which Vehicle Is Better for Corporate and Event Groups?
For corporate groups of 10 or 11 travelling to a conference, Suncorp Stadium, or a corporate event, the 12-seater is the right choice. It moves the full group in one vehicle, which means one driver, one pickup, one arrival time, no coordination between cars.
For a group of 8 or 9, the 10-seater handles the trip with room to spare. Both vehicles use government regulated meters — the per-kilometre rate is the same. The 12-seater gives you 2 extra seats for a group of 10 or 11 without splitting into two vehicles.
Is the 12-Seater Wheelchair Accessible?
No. The 12-seater maxi taxi is not available in wheelchair accessible (WAT) configuration. Space constraints in the 12-seater body type do not allow for ramp installation. If your group of 10 or 11 includes a wheelchair user, contact us before booking.
In most cases, we recommend the 10-seater WAT for a wheelchair user travelling with a large group. The 10-seater WAT carries 9 passengers, including one wheelchair user. For a group of 10 or 11 with a wheelchair user, two vehicles may be required.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How many passengers does a 12-seater maxi taxi carry in Brisbane?+
Our 12-seater maxi taxi carries 11 passengers plus the driver. The total vehicle has 12 seats — 11 passenger seats and 1 driver seat. It carries 8 large suitcases and 6 carry-on bags. It is not available in wheelchair accessible configuration.
Is the 10-seater or 12-seater better for a wedding?+
For a wedding party of 10 to 11, the 12-seater fits the entire party in one vehicle. For a wedding party of 8 to 9, the 10-seater handles it comfortably with luggage room. Both vehicles are available 24/7. The 12-seater is a popular choice for bridal party transfers because the entire group arrives at the same time.
Is the 10-seater wheelchair accessible in Brisbane?+
Yes. Our 10-seater maxi taxi is available in wheelchair accessible (WAT) configuration with a ramp. It carries one wheelchair user plus up to 8 additional passengers. The 12-seater does not have WAT configuration. If wheelchair access is required, the 10-seater is the largest WAT vehicle in our fleet.
Which vehicle is better for FIFO workers — 10 or 12-seater?+
It depends on crew size. A crew of 8 or 9 with kit bags uses the 10-seater — 7 large bag capacity handles the work gear. A crew of 10 or 11 needs the 12-seater. We also handle roster-based recurring bookings for ongoing FIFO rosters. Call 0431 971 395 to arrange.
What is the cost difference between a 10-seater and 12-seater for the same trip?+
No difference. All our vehicles use Queensland Government regulated taxi meters at the same per-kilometre rate. The flag fall is also the same. You pay for distance and time, not vehicle size. Booking the 12-seater for the same route as the 10-seater costs the same per kilometre.
